New Delhi, May 03, 2019: The Board of Directors of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd has appointed Sangram Chaudhary as the new managing director of the organisation. Chaudhary took charge with effect from May 1, 2019, and his induction is expected to bring in immense growth potential for the company.
Chaudhary comes with a rich experience of over three decades in the dairying sector of the country and has demonstrated exemplary leadership in his last association as executive director, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). During his stint at NDDB, he has been instrumental in rolling out of National Dairy Plan apart from national & state level policies, implementation of animal nutrition, heath, breeding and related livestock issues according to the reports published in fnbnews.com.
His core areas of interest remain organisational development, institution building, quality management and project management. Chaudhary is a post-graduate in rural management from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and Master of Science with specialisation in life sciences from University of Gujarat, Ahmedabad.
Mother Dairy was commissioned in 1974 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the NDDB. It was established under the initiative of ‘Operation Flood,’ world’s biggest dairy development programme launched to make India a milk-sufficient nation. Today, the company is a leading dairy player which manufactures, markets & sells milk and milk products including cultured products, ice creams, paneer and ghee under the Mother Dairy brand.
The company also has a diversified portfolio with products in edible oils under the Dhara brand and fresh fruits & vegetables, frozen vegetables, range of unpolished pulses and honey under the Safal brand.
Fnbnews.com further added that with evolving consumer needs towards healthy intake, Safal has also ventured into its varied range of ‘organic’ produce. The range includes fresh fruit & vegetables and products like pulses, spices, rice, millets, dry fruits and wheat flour.
